And Barak said to her, "If you will energy with me, then I will go; nevertheless whether you will not activity with me, I will not go!"
So she said, "I will surely oomph with you; on the contrary there will be no glory for you in the junket you are taking, for the LORD will sell Sisera into the artisan of a woman." ...
And the LORD routed Sisera and all his chariots and all his army with the borderline of the sword before Barak; and Sisera alighted from his chariot and fled out on foot ... to the tent of Jael, the wife of Heber ... And ... she covered him with a blanket.
... So [Jael] opened a pitcher of milk, gave him a drink, and covered him....
Then Jael, ... took a tent peg and ... a hammer in her hand, and went softly to him and drove the peg into his temple, and it went down into the ground .... So he died.

Notice basic of all that Deborah was a prophetess, a female prophet. The Lord is no respecter of persons, and considers males and females equally (1 Samuel 16:7). As a prophet, Deborah's ministry was to advertise the messages of cleverness and instruction she received from the Lord. Nation would come from miles on all sides of to hear the intelligence of the Lord, and acquire Deborah fact is a adjudicator in interpersonal disputes. In the direction of her ministry, she received a memo for Barak to facade a tiny Jew army against Sisera, the commander of Jabin's troops.
